He Will Do It Again

He Will Do It Again

My grandmother — and the elders who carried wisdom like oil in their hands — taught me to keep journals. Not just notebooks, but sacred archives of revelation, encounters, and the quiet ways God answers prayers. They told me, “Write it down. One day, you’ll need to remember what God has already done. “And they were right.

Every so often, the Holy Spirit whispers with that unmistakable nudge, “Get your journals. Read them. Review the dreams. Revisit the revelation. Remember the encounters.”

And when I do, I see the pattern.

Every heartbreak had a hidden rescue. Every delay carried a divine intention. Every valley ended with a sentence that could only be written by God Himself: “And then… God showed up.”

Suddenly, the suffering makes sense. The waiting becomes holy. The questions settle into peace. Page after page, my journals testify: He was there all along. After the process, I discovered a new version of me that I didn’t know was possible.

God is faithful in all His ways, not with partiality, not grudgingly, but with unconditional love, mercy, and patience. Every time Satan recites, “This is the end. There is no way out, and your health is declining. I hit him back with, “You are a liar! That’s not what God says. He cannot lie. He’s a Promise Keeper, Way Marker, and a Miracle Worker, the same Yesterday, today, and forever!” It’s the truth, cancelling a lie that Satan tries to trick us into agreeing with.

If you are going through a trial, don’t lose heart.  Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.” (John 14:1 KJV) Delay doesn’t mean denial, or He is ignoring us. He is working all things for our good.

Your Promise Is Your Weapon

Your Promise Is Your Weapon

Author Darlene J. Conard

Mary came into alignment for God’s purpose by declaring these words, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word.” (Luke 1:38 KJV)

Mary, described as highly favored by the angel of the Lord, faced numerous challenges despite her favored status. Rather than leading a life of ease, being highly favored brought her persecution, pain, and a need for sacrifice.

The moment the Holy Ghost enveloped her in a divine embrace, she underwent a profound transformation; it was unmistakable that she had experienced a powerful visitation from God. Similarly, after encountering God’s overwhelming presence atop the mountain, Moses needed to drape a veil over his face to shield those around him from the radiant glow of God’s glory that had saturated his features (Exodus 34:33).

In the depths of Mary’s womb, something more profound than the creation of a new life was taking place. She was told, “Mary, you are carrying a prophecy that the enemy will stop at nothing to obliterate. Evil will emerge from its seat of power. But do not be afraid, for light will inevitably triumph over darkness, swallowing it whole.” It is written, And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. Revelation 12:1-13 KJV

Her position before the earth’s foundations were laid was to carry the promise that the enemy despised. He devised every wicked way possible to stop her from delivering our Savior. Yes, earthly kings arose in haste to protect their reign. It wasn’t about flesh and blood; it was against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12) This battle would only be won by standing tall and strong on bended knees.

Beloved, know that Satan harbors contempt for the promises and calling that reside within your spiritual being. However, take courage, for you have the ability to stand up to the enemy with God’s unwavering declaration that His promises will be fulfilled! His word is an omnipotent, steadfast source of strength and reassurance amid spiritual warfare.

If you seek God with all your heart, you will experience abundant growth and prosperity in various aspects of your life. I pray God grants you the strength and guidance to bring spiritual blessings and fulfillment. Embracing your spiritual purpose will be essential in unlocking the path to your prosperity and realizing the complete satisfaction of God’s divine plan for your life.

The Price of Anointing

The Price of Anointing

Author Darlene J Conard

I never tire of hearing David’s timeless story. His life is a rich tapestry woven with lessons that resonate deeply. As I settled at my desk, the soft light from my lamp illuminated the gloomy, stormy day outside. I found a peaceful solitude in that moment of quiet anticipation. I remained attentive, yearning for guidance and wisdom from the Lord.

God reminded me of David’s intense journey. David received a threefold anointing that shaped his destiny. Each stage of his anointing was marked by significant challenges, serving as a testament to his resilience and faith. David forged his character through these trials, preparing him for the extraordinary path ahead.  The first anointing in 1 Samuel 16:13 was when God rejected his brothers. They considered David, a nobody, but God recognized that David was after His heart. They had a problem believing thirty-year-old David could be chosen.

…  Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him amid his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward.”  (1 Samuel 16:13 KJV) The next verse, fourteen, says, … “the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord troubled him.” As soon as God’s spirit rested upon David, it fled from Saul. The Spirit of the Lord fled from Saul.

The second anointing of David marked a pivotal moment in his journey, coming as he reclaimed what had been stolen from him and garnered an abundance of spoils. seeking clarity, David earnestly turned to the LORD for guidance, asking with sincerity, “Should I ascend to any of the cities in Judah?” The response he received was filled with reassurance, as the LORD instructed him, “Go up.”

Driven by curiosity about his destination, David pressed on, asking, “To which city shall I go?” The divine voice provided clear direction: “To Hebron.”

Obeying God’s command, David set forth on his journey to Hebron, accompanied by his two wives, Ahinoam from Jezreel and Abigail, the widow of Nabal from Carmel. His loyal men followed suit, each bringing their families along, creating a vibrant caravan as they traveled. Upon reaching their destination, they settled in the various towns and villages that dotted the landscape of Hebron, transforming the area into their new home.

In a moment steeped in significance, the men of Judah gathered to honor David, and there, amidst the reverence of the occasion, they anointed him king over the house of Judah.

The third time, David became King of Israel. The twelve tribes approached David in Hebron, saying, “It was you who led us out and led us in. The Lord said to David, “You shall shepherd My people, Israel, and be a ruler to them.”   2 Samuel 5

Many people believe that receiving an anointing is a simple process, but I can assure you that a significant cost is involved. It requires dedication, sacrifice, and a deep commitment to God. The journey to attain such a blessing often involves trials and challenges that test one’s faith and perseverance.

…. “For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.” Luke 12:48 KJV

The Fight of Faith

The Fight of Faith

There are days when the soul sighs a question it’s almost afraid to voice: “God… why am I always wrestling?”But pause long enough, and you’ll notice something—no one drags a frail, untrained fighter into the ring. Weakness never attracts warfare. Champions do.

In every arena, it’s the crowned contender who draws the crowd, the challenger, the Goliath-sized opposition. Why? Because champions carry something worth testing. Something worth toppling. Something worth stealing. Let that truth seep into the hidden corners of your mind. Satan does not pick fights with the fragile. He calls out the ones wearing unseen crowns.  God leans over the balcony of heaven and says, “If you’re looking for a worthy opponent, have you considered My servant… (your name)?” Not as a sacrifice— but as a statement. A declaration. A divine confidence in the strength He has forged inside you.

One afternoon, something in me snapped into holy clarity. I reached the end of my quiet endurance. My spirit rose with a fire I didn’t plan, didn’t script, didn’t rehearse. Enough is enough. If the enemy wanted a fight, then a fight he would get.

I stood up—not physically, but spiritually—and declared, “Satan, I will not cower. I will not fold. If you want a fight— I’ll give you a fight!”

At the end of the week, the air around me shifted. The pressure intensified. The warfare became relentless, like waves refusing to retreat.

“God… what is happening?” His answer came with the calm authority of a Commander who never loses: “Satan accepted your challenge… and I permitted it. Not to break you. Not to shame you. But to reveal the warrior you didn’t know you were.”

God doesn’t allow things if it doesn’t serve a purpose. Even the bad choices we make can be a lesson; nothing is wasted.

I want to encourage you to stand your ground. No matter how bad it looks, how you feel, what it seems like, or what has been said, God has confidence in you!

Held, Seen, and Known

Held, Seen, and Known

There is a quiet miracle hidden in the heart of God: He cares about what we care about. Not just the spiritual things. Not just the “big” things. But the small, fragile, everyday things that tug at our hearts. The things we whisper. The things we overthink. The things we cry about in private. The things we don’t think are “important enough” for Heaven’s attention.

God leans into all of it.

He Is Not Distant from Our Details …

We often imagine God as concerned only with the grand story—salvation, destiny, eternity. But the same God who holds galaxies in His hands also counts the hairs on our heads.

If He counts what falls, He surely cares about what stays.

What Touches You Touches Him

Love always pays attention. God does love us. When something burdens us, it registers in heaven. When something delights us, it delights Him too. When something breaks our hearts, He draws closer—not farther. God does not minimize our emotions. He meets us in them. This is why Scripture says to cast your cares on Him—not because they are heavy to Him, but because we are precious to Him.

God Moves Through the Things That Matter to us.

At times, what we hold dear becomes the pathway through which God demonstrates His goodness. A child for whom you are praying. A choice you are grappling with. A dream you hesitate to believe in. A need you are unsure how to fulfill. God enters these situations not with reluctance, but with joy. He is the Father who humbles Himself, listens attentively, and responds with faithfulness.

There are concerns you carry that others may dismiss: “Why does that matter so much to you?” “Just get over it.” “It’s not that serious.”  God never talks to you like that.

He understands the weight of our hearts. He never shames us for caring deeply. He is the safest place for our emotions, hopes, and hidden aches.

Prayer Becomes Personal When We Realize This …

When you understand that God cares about what you care about, prayer stops feeling like a duty and becomes a conversation with Someone who truly listens. Prayer is a place of honesty, comfort, partnership, and healing.

God Who Cares About Us, Not Just Our Calling

Sometimes we think God only cares about our assignments, but He cares deeply about us as individuals—the person behind the calling. He values our rest, joy, relationships, dreams, and healing. He is not just the God of our destiny; He is the God of our daily life.

Bring Him the things you’ve been holding back—those small worries and burdens you felt you had to face alone. He cares because you care. He listens because you speak. He moves because you matter.

“Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. “But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.”Matthew 10:31 (KJV)

 What If

 What If

What if? Such a small phrase, yet it echoes through our minds like a whisper that refuses to be ignored. What if I don’t pass the test? What if this falls apart? What if this or that happens? We speak it without thinking, but “if” is never an empty word.

It is a doorway.

A hinge.

A holy pause between what is and what could be.

According to Merriam-Webster, “if” is a conjunction that introduces a condition—something that must take place before something else can unfold.

But spiritually, it is more than grammar. It is the language of possibility, the vocabulary of faith, the crossroads of choice.

Every “if” asks us quietly:

“Under what circumstances will you believe? Under what condition will you trust?”

The word if appears in the King James Bible 1,601 times—not by accident, but by divine intention.

God uses “if” to invite us into partnership with His promises. He lays out blessings, breakthroughs, and miracles, and then places a sacred condition before us: “If you obey… If you seek… If you turn… If you believe…”

Jesus Himself said, “If you believe, what you are asking for will come to pass.” Not because the power is in the word, but because the power is in the posture—the heart that chooses faith over fear, trust over trembling, obedience over uncertainty.

So the real question is not, “What if something goes wrong?” but rather, “What if God is preparing something new? What if the impossible is already shifting? What if my faith is the key that unlocks the next miracle?”

Every “if” becomes an invitation.

A threshold.

A chance to step into the dawning of something new.

I can truly relate to the feeling of uncertainty, as I’ve faced my fair share of risks along the way. Yet, I’ve come to realize that embracing those unknowns has often led me to my greatest blessings. Without stepping into the unpredictable, I would have missed out on the joyful experiences and opportunities that have enriched my life.

Don’t let the “ifs” pull you away from your greatest blessings; have faith as Jesus inspired us to do.

Gird Up

Gird Up

Author Darlene J. Conard

Brace yourself. Steady your spirit. Prepare for action. When God commanded, “Gird up thy loins,” He wasn’t offering poetry—He was issuing a survival strategy.

In those days, a warrior’s robe flowed long and loose. Beautiful, yes—but dangerous. The very garment meant to cover them could entangle their feet, slow their stride, and cause them to fall. So before battle, before running, before stepping into anything that required strength, they would gather up the loose fabric, tie it tight around their waist, and free their legs to move with purpose.

God was saying: Pull in the things that could trip you. Secure what could sabotage your momentum. Fasten every loose end so nothing snatches your footing when I call you to move.

It’s a call to readiness. A call to clarity. A call to strip away every snare before stepping into destiny.

In this hour, God is teaching us to stand firm and see victory.

The greatest battlefield we face is not around us but within us. The mind is where fear tries to whisper, where lies attempt to take root, and where the enemy seeks to plant confusion. But the mind is also where God speaks peace, where truth anchors us, and where His Spirit strengthens us to stand unshaken.

Standing firm in the battle for our minds begins with recognizing that we are not fighting alone. “The Lord shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” When the storm rises inside, God does not step back—He steps closer.

To stand firm means:

  • Guarding the gates of our thoughts. Not every thought deserves entry. We choose what we allow to stay.
  • Refusing to agree with fear. Fear is loud, but it is not the Lord.
  • Holding fast to truth even when feelings tremble. Feelings shift; God’s word does not.
  • Declaring what God says louder than what the enemy suggests. Every lie loses power when confronted with the truth.
  • Staying rooted, not running “Having done all, to stand.” Standing is not passive—it is warfare.

The mind becomes steady when we anchor it in God’s promises. The mind becomes peaceful when we surrender it to His presence. The mind becomes victorious when we refuse to bow to the enemy’s intimidation.

Standing firm is not about never feeling pressure. It is about refusing to collapse under it.

It is choosing to say: “My mind belongs to God. My thoughts are not a playground for the enemy. I stand my ground.”

And when we stand, heaven stands with us.

We are walking through days the world has never seen before. We say, “I’m ready,” but when the hour truly arrives—when the shaking hits our doorstep—will we still be standing? Will our faith hold its ground, or will the winds test what our words only claimed?

“Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;”  —1 Peter 1:13 KJV

We are in a spiritual war, and it has nothing to do with political opinions, party lines, or human arguments. What we are facing goes far deeper than the surface-level conflicts people like to point to. This battle is not about left or right, conservative or liberal, this nation or that nation. It is about light versus darkness, truth versus deception, freedom versus bondage, and the kingdom of God versus the enemy’s schemes.

Political opinions may shape conversations, but they do not shape the battlefield. The real war is fought in the unseen realm—where thoughts are formed, identities are challenged, and destinies are contested.

This is the war:

  • For the mind, where confusion tries to replace clarity
  • For the heart, where fear tries to silence faith
  • For families, where division tries to uproot unity
  • For truth, where deception tries to masquerade as wisdom
  • For  purpose, where distraction tries to derail calling

People may argue about policies, but heaven and hell are contending for souls.

This is why the weapons of our warfare are not carnal. This is why discernment matters more than debate. This is why prayer is more powerful than opinion. This is why standing firm in truth is more urgent than winning an argument.

When we say we are in a spiritual war, we are acknowledging that the real enemy is not flesh and blood. It is not your neighbor. It is not your coworker. It is not someone who votes differently from you.

The enemy is the one who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy—quietly, subtly, strategically.

And because the war is spiritual, the victory must be spiritual.

One Nail

One Nail

Author Darlene J. Conard

A thousand thoughts danced through my mind last night, rehearsed and replayed like echoes in the dark. Then, a message on Instagram pierced the silence—it spoke to me with startling clarity.

It told the story of a man who inherited a grand house, filled with furniture and memories. One day, a stranger appeared at the door, knocking with urgency. “Can I help you?” the heir asked. The stranger replied earnestly, “I want to buy this house.” The man shook his head firmly. “This house is not for sale.”But desperation burned in the stranger’s eyes. “Name your price—I’ll pay whatever you ask.”

Still, the heir refused. Again and again, the stranger returned with offers, each more tempting than the last. Yet the answer remained the same: “No.” Finally, the stranger tried a different approach. “Then at least let me buy that nail sticking out of the wall.” The heir laughed at the absurdity. A nail? What harm could it do? After all, it was only a nail. So he agreed.

But soon the stranger returned, carrying rotten meat, and hung it on the nail.

“You can’t do that!”

Oh, but I can, you sold me the nail that’s in the wall. He replied with a twisted grin.

What seemed harmless at first became a source of decay, a stench that filled the house, poisoning the air. The heir had to leave.

The moral of this story is clear: never surrender even the smallest ground to the enemy. What may appear insignificant—a single thought, a minor compromise, a fleeting weakness—can become the seed of destruction if left unchecked. Evil rarely storms the gates in one blow; it creeps in through cracks, disguises itself in small concessions, and grows until it dominates. To give the enemy one inch is to invite him to take a mile. Guard your heart, your mind, and your purpose with vigilance. Stand firm in truth, because every inch matters. Victory is not won in great battles alone, but in the daily choices to resist, to remain steadfast, and to refuse the subtle encroachments of darkness.

Ephesians 4:27 warns, “Do not give place to the devil.

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” — 1 Peter 5:8 KJV

We are in a season of preparation. This is not a wasted time, nor a forgotten place. It is the workshop of heaven, where God quietly shapes hearts, sharpening vision and strengthening faith. Every hidden moment, every unseen prayer, every trial endured is part of the divine blueprint. Preparation is not delay—it is design.

The next season will be glorious. What is being sown in secret will be revealed in splendor. The tears of today will water the joy of tomorrow. The wilderness will give way to promise, and the silence will break into song. God is not only preparing us for survival—He is preparing us for triumph. The glory ahead will make the weight of this preparation worthwhile.

We cannot afford distraction. The enemy thrives on diversion, whispering lies, magnifying fears, and tempting us with lesser pursuits. But every moment spent in distraction is a moment stolen from destiny. We must guard our focus like treasure, keeping our eyes fixed on the Author and Finisher of our faith. The enemy’s schemes are small compared to the greatness of God’s plan, but vigilance is required.

So let us walk with steady hearts, anchored in hope. Let us resist the pull of distraction and embrace the discipline of preparation. For when the season shifts, we will step into glory—not unready, not unsteady, but fully equipped to carry the promises of God.

Condemnation

Condemnation

Author Darlene J. Conard

Let’s probe into the shame and condemnation. It is a spirit, but not one that comes from God. For many years, I viewed these feelings as a form of punishment, believing they were God’s way of reprimanding me for my shortcomings. This mindset created a heavy weight on my heart, filling me with a sense of unworthiness and fear of judgment. The experience was deeply isolating, as I navigated through moments of self-doubt and guilt, convinced that I was constantly being scrutinized and found lacking in the eyes of God. A preacher I sat under used his carnal ways, drilling them into our souls; it was God’s conviction. He would use these words, “God condemns us,” which is contrary to the word of God. “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” —Romans 8:1 KJV.

The word condemnation means censure, blame, and accusation. This comes from Satan.

  • Revelation 12:10 calls him the accuser of the brethren who accuses day and night.
  • Job 1:8-11 Satan goes to and fro to accuse
  • Zechariah 3:1-2 Joshua the high priest stood before the angel of the Lord wearing filthy rags, which the Lord commanded Satan to remove.

In Romans 8:33, it is declared that it is ultimately God who holds the power to justify us. The story of Job serves as a profound illustration of this truth. Despite facing relentless accusations from Satan, Job remained steadfast and unwavering in his faith, demonstrating that he was truly justified in the eyes of God. Through his trials, Job demonstrated resilience and integrity, proving that divine justification is not swayed by human judgment or worldly challenges.

Conviction is an entirely distinct emotion, characterized by a deep sense of certainty and unwavering belief in a principle or idea. It goes beyond mere opinion; it envelops you with confidence and determination, compelling you to stand firm in your beliefs even in the face of opposition or doubt. This feeling often ignites a passionate drive to pursue your convictions, influencing your decisions and actions with a profound clarity of purpose.

God corrects in love and edification. “For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.” —Proverbs 3:12

I invite you to take a moment today to reach out to the Lord, seeking His guidance and wisdom. Ask Him to uncover the specific ways and through whom the enemy may be attempting to bring feelings of condemnation and shame into your life. Remember, Jesus is ever-present, ready to heal and transform every aspect of our existence. Embrace the opportunity for renewal and freedom that He offers.

For His Glory

For His Glory

Author Darlene J. Conard

I found myself stifling a chuckle, fully grasping the backstory behind Dutch Sheets’ experiences. The Lord had nudged him to delve into the account of the lame man at the Gate Beautiful. “Leave me alone; I’ve read that before,” he thought, hoping to keep that fleeting sentiment hidden from the Lord. In that instant, Dutch was blissfully unaware that God knows our innermost thoughts. It struck a chord with me, resonating with a familiar feeling. He went on to describe how he pored over that scripture time and again until the profound message the Lord intended finally revealed itself to him.

Recently, God brought to my mind the compelling tale of Gideon, a man wrestling fiercely with doubts about his capability to lead the beleaguered nation of Israel against the overwhelming forces of the Midianites. Chosen for such a monumental task, Gideon couldn’t see that God desired his willingness to step forward and draw upon divine strength. This reflection resonates deeply within me as I often find myself questioning the Lord, “Why have you placed me in the roles of an author, an artist, and a leader when I grapple with numerous personal challenges?” God has gently replied, “So that I may be glorified.”

It might seem remarkable—or even absurd—that someone like me, someone who constantly battles with dyslexia and ADHD, would dare to embrace these responsibilities, especially in a time when such struggles are frequently dismissed or overlooked. However, I confidently navigate these turbulent waters through the empowering guidance of the Holy Spirit. Looking back on the life of Moses—a man who faced his own battles with a speech impediment and often felt inadequate—I draw strength from his journey. Like Moses, who pressed on against his limitations (Exodus 3:11), I find reassurance in the knowledge that God can work powerfully through my weaknesses to manifest His glory.

“God, I know those stories. I don’t want to reread them,” you might say.

“Take the time to immerse yourself in those words once more,” He responds gently, “allowing their meaning to seep deep into your very essence until they transform from mere obstacles into stepping stones, stripped of any power that darkness may hold over you.” I am genuinely grateful for those sacred moments when we attune our hearts to God’s whispering presence within our spirits. He has assured us of His unwavering commitment to guide and illuminate our paths with profound truth and love.

The Lord may indeed be addressing something in your own life. It’s vital to understand that it is our Heavenly Father who loves us unconditionally. God uniquely uses the seemingly impossible and the weaknesses of humanity to reveal His extraordinary glory.

“But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.” —1 Corinthians 1:27 KJV.
