The pangs of longing deepen, coursing like electric surges through the very essence of the soul. A heart, fractured and bleeding, is an undeniable truth, as palpable as the bright light of day. This reality resonates within us all.

In the early days of my spiritual journey, I was completely unaware of the profound truths about God that would eventually transform my life. I vividly recall the moment my grandmother gently encouraged me, saying, “Talk to God, He will speak to you.” Her words resonated deeply within me, sparking a curiosity I had never known before. Since that pivotal moment in 2001, I have immersed myself in learning about the one and only True God, discovering a wealth of insights and wisdom that have guided my faith and understanding.

The one thing that threw me off is, why is it that the harder I pray for God to use me for His glory, the more I experienced what felt like hell on earth, emotionally, physically, spiritually, and mentally?  God, I’m praying to be used by You, but I’m dealing with rejection in the church, rejection by my family who are in the church, and sickness on top of it. I felt a void, although God never left me, a terrible, uncomfortable void swallowed whole, every ounce of security that I once held tight to.

Feeling a profound sense of emptiness can be incredibly unsettling. It’s as if a void has settled within, leaving a stark absence where joy and fulfillment once resided. This haunting feeling creates an unsettling weight, making the world seem dull and lifeless, as if colors have faded and sounds have hushed. The discomfort of this emptiness lingers, gnawing at the edges of one’s consciousness, yearning for something to fill the space that feels so achingly vacant. I just said it, something to feel the space. There is a reason for that!

Unknowingly, I leaned heavily on my understanding, drawing from everything I had ever known as a means of survival. Yet, that sense of familiarity was abruptly consumed by a vast void, a deep chasm that seemed to grasp everything I held dear. It was then that I realized this emptiness served a greater purpose; it was God’s way of preparing a transformation within Darlene, one that would nurture and sustain her for eternity. In His divine wisdom, God often utilizes the void, that intangible nothingness, to breathe life into something entirely new, crafting a reality that transcends our understanding.

In conclusion, we will occasionally encounter a profound emptiness, a feeling of being stripped of everything we hold dear. This emptiness serves a divine purpose, as it allows God to speak into our lives, saying, “Let there be greater faith. Allow this vessel of mine to thrive and blossom within the very void that seems overwhelming, so that I may illuminate the darkness through them.” In these moments of absence, God does His greatest work.

In the depths of darkness, God reveals His most extraordinary wonders. It is in the quiet shadows that the brilliance of light can truly be appreciated; without the contrast of darkness, the beauty of light would go unnoticed.

The Bible shows many aspects of God’s relationship with darkness, often describing it as a complex part of His character. One crucial verse is 1 Kings 8:12, which says, “The LORD said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.” This verse suggests that God can be present even in the darkest of times. It symbolizes the mystery of His divine presence and the incredible power that comes from it. Here, darkness is not just the absence of light; it becomes a space where the sacred and the unknown intersect, encouraging us to think deeply and respect the complexities of faith and the Divine.

Another passage to reflect on is Psalm 139:11-12, which states, “If I declare, ‘Certainly the darkness will conceal me and the light become night surrounding me,’ even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will glow like the day, for darkness is as light to you.” This conveys that, for God, darkness poses no obstacle; He perceives and comprehends everything, no matter the circumstance.

Additionally, the concept of spiritual darkness is addressed in John 1:5, which states, “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” This verse emphasizes the triumph of God’s light over darkness, showcasing hope and the power of divine presence even amidst troubled times.

Many do not believe that fasting is for the church of today. Many do not believe that having an active prayer life is necessary. Both are necessary. Fasting is not just a process of doing without food. There is a movement in our society that fasting is healthy for our bodies. I do not deny that going without food will have certain health benefits in natural. But that is not the only thing fasting is when we think about it in the biblical sense. Jesus did not fast for forth days and nights while doing other things. It wasn’t to prove how long he could go without food. It wasn’t so he could go to the synagogue and brag about how many days he had fasted. He was alone with God in prayer, praying for strength to do what he had to do for mankind. He was praying for all of his followers, even us. When we fast and pray, we are telling God, drawing closer to you Lord is more important than even the food I eat. Matt 17:15-21 Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water. 16 And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him. 17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me. 18 And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour. 19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? 20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. 21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.Little prayer equals little power. Many think that spiritual warfare is having to walk through a rough spot when the enemy is oppressing us. Sometimes circumstances in life can be difficult, simply because it is difficult. Other times it is an attack of the enemy. Only those on fire for God can discern the difference.I understand why it is not taught from the pulpit as much as it should be, people are afraid. People want the feel-good messages about being overcomers and how we will have a home in heaven.It is time for the church to wake up. It is not about what color the choir robes should be and if there is carpet or hardwood floors in the sanctuary. It is not about someone else getting to sing the opening hymn instead of you. It is not about someone looking at you disapprovingly when they don’t like something you did or said. We are at war. Our enemy is on his game. He has divided the body of Christ too long over ridiculous things. While we are being distracted, the enemy is plotting to destroy us.The enemy is plotting with his minions to take us out. The church world is oblivious to the fact that we are at war. A large portion are asleep. It is time we wake up and get serious about our faith walk. God doesn’t want us to be lukewarm. It is time to catch on fire with the power and anointing of the Holy Ghost.When we get our hearts in a position of desiring God’s will in our lives more than anything else. We will come through it stronger in the spirit. The enemy is a liar and tries to cause fear. We cannot allow his lies to cause us to fear.Acts 19:13-17 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. 14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. 15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? 16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.Stories like this are why people are afraid of the spirit realm. Because the spirits know if you have been on the mountain with Jesus, praying. Prayer equals power and anointing in the Holy Ghost.17 And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.They tried to cast out devils, which was demons, but the demons said, Jesus we know and Paul we know, but who are you?Why did this happen, it caused fear among the people? Because the name of the Lord was magnified.  This was a healthy fear, a reverence of the Lord. The person oppressed by these spirits has been set free. The enemy has power. The same power that the early church had lives within us, if we are born of the Spirit. Why do we walk around defeated? Because we have not connected to the power source in prayer.It is time for us to decide how serious we are about our faith walk. Are we going to be on fire for God? Are we going to continue to be lukewarm? I am going to tell you that being lukewarm is not a state we want to find ourselves in right now.Rev 3:14-17 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:We do not want God to find us in the state of being lukewarm. The lukewarm damage the body of Chirst. They are the bertha better than you’s that hurt those who are starting out and make them feel like giving up. The lukewarm are those that the world looks at and says, “I am as good as they are, if they are a Christian then I will make it to heaven too.”  Being lukewarm shows the world weakness. We do not want God to spew us out of his mouth.2 Tim 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.We cannot be lukewarm and have a form of godliness, but deny the power of God. We cannot be caught unaware of what is going on around us. So get on your knees and pray, not just say word, but pour all you have out to God. Ask for his help to walk out your faith.Again, I encourage you to be vigilant and watch for the enemy’s attacks. Ask God for his direction, and he will direct you on how to fast and pray. We have to use common sense. I have heard of people who have never fasted even a day, taking on the task of fasting forty days and nights like Jesus did. God doesn’t require us to take on a task we are not ready for, that is why we have to hear his voice and be lead by his spirit. Maybe start with a meal or a day. Work, up to two or three days.As we walk with the Lord and pray more, we will have more revelation about what God want’s us to do. Just don’t be caught in a state of being lukewarm. Today, I felt a profound urge from the Lord to earnestly seek His presence as we stand on the brink of momentous transformations poised to unfold not just within the borders of America but globally.

At around 10:15 p.m., I saw a vision of Esther in a flowing white gown gracefully approaching the majestic throne. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation. In that divine moment, I heard the Lord’s voice resonate within me, saying, “Esther, it is time for you to step forward to the throne. Your intercession holds the key to transforming the course of events ahead.”

On April 22nd, I received a profound prophetic message indicating that substantial global changes are on the horizon. As I focus on this revelation, I will pause my blogging activities from the 21st to the 25th. During this time, I will dedicate myself to a deep intercession session, earnestly seeking to connect with God and understand His will during these pivotal times.

Healing and deliverance are within our reach, and we should not let fear take hold. Instead of viewing specific individuals or circumstances as adversaries, we need to shift our focus and recognize that Satan is the true enemy. It’s time to embrace hope and understanding, allowing us to confront our struggles with clarity and strength.

Diabolical alliances are coming to an end, for God is just beginning. God will always have the first and last word. One night, I sent forth a ball of darkness and a ball of pure light. When the two collided, the light engulfed the darkness, creating a path of illumination above the earth. As it formed a complete circle, the glory of God descended upon the earth.

“What now? What do we do? There’s no way out! Why did God lead us to dwell in this destitution?”  Fear stole their hope, strangling the fire that God’s wonders brought. We’ve all been in the children of Israel’s state of mind. “No way out of this situation. I don’t see it.” Well, my friend, our perspective is off.

Deep in thought, I’ve often imagined God yawning after the flick of His finger. Nothing challenges Him! “Give me another prayer.” He’s God all by Himself.  God promised Abraham he would father many nations. He swore by Himself, why? No one exceeded His greatness. No one or thing ever will.  Hebrews 6:13

Isaiah 45:11, one of my many favorite passages, says, … “Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.” Wow! Amazing! Commanding in this verse is not to approach Him disrespectfully. God is inviting us to declare what He has already promised. “God, manifest Your power in this situation. Reveal Your unattainable power in the courtroom. Jesus, reveal Your redeeming power in the life of my loved ones. I declare it done!

“Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.” (Numbers 23:20). God said in this passage He received commandment to bless: He has blessed, sealed and delivered! I love this! (Paraphrasing) “Ask Me about the blessing reserved for your sons and daughters. Anything concerning them, let Me reveal it to you.” I love God’s invitations to come boldly before the throne of grace Paul wrote about in Hebrews 4:16. Seek His face, not His hand. He loves our adoration towards Him.

“Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?” (Isaiah 43:13 KJV) Not one of them can do what only God can do. Maybe you have situations at work, in a friendship or healing in your marriage, or bad relationships from the past. He’ll do it His way. He knows how to orchestrate people, places, and things. God sees the intent of hearts, the condition of the mind, and the state of our being. We truly believe we know ourselves until He unveils strengths and weaknesses.

“The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.” (Proverbs 20:27 KJV)  

“But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:10 KJV

Hebrews 4:12 says, He’s the discerner of our thoughts and intents of the heart. Don’t underestimate your earnest prayers. Fervently

God spoke to Noah in a cramped-up situation He created—animals of every kind, family, and perhaps other necessities. God makes us uncomfortable on purpose to motivate us out of comfort. (Genesis 8:1-8) The unseen cocoon we are experiencing is a time of growth. Use it, ask Him to show His glory as Moses did in Exodus 33:18.

I dedicated a substantial amount of time in quiet anticipation, immersed in prayer and reflection, tuning my heart to hear the whispers of divine guidance. “What message do You have for me, Lord?” I implored, longing for clarity and understanding in the stillness of my spirit.

 The melody of an old hymn, “God’s Unchanging Hand,” echoed in my spirit, stirring emotions and memories that had long been buried. The chorus played repeatedly in my thoughts: “Hold to God’s unchanging hand; Build your hopes on things eternal; hold to God’s unchanging hand.”  

God is an unchanging force in our lives, a steadfast presence abundant with love, care, and compassion—just as he has been since the dawn of creation. His power is immense, but he can move mountains literally and metaphorically, shaping circumstances in ways we may never fathom. In our moments of great distress, he offers solace that soothes the aching heart and calms the restless spirit, providing comfort that transcends our understanding.

Our paths may sometimes feel rugged and obstructed, yet he clears those barriers through faith and trust, revealing routes we thought were lost. He is ever-present in every moment of our existence, serving as a wellspring of strength and guidance. His unwavering mercy and grace towards us remind us that no fault or mistake separates us from his love; instead, he invites us to seek him in every situation, illuminating our way forward with profound assurance and hope.

I urge you to remain steadfast during challenging times and to avoid placing your trust solely in what you see, feel, or hear around you. Life can present us with uncertainties and trials that may cloud our judgment and shake our faith. However, I want to remind you that God is unwavering and reliable in every aspect of His existence and dealings. His faithfulness is a constant that never falters, even when circumstances may suggest otherwise. Trust in His promises and hold on tightly to your faith, for He guides us with purpose and love.

Each challenge we encounter serves as valuable preparation for the trials. Reflecting on my past experiences, I’ve realized that these moments were not just random obstacles but divine lessons intended to shape my character and guide my journey. They have improved my understanding and offered me opportunities to support and uplift others during their struggles.

“God’s ways and thoughts are passed finding out” is a sentence we hear often, but do we let it sink into our spirit? I can say for me, no, I haven’t.

In every circumstance that unfolds, I often find myself reflecting, I never expected it would turn out this way. Take, for instance, the journey to Canaan. Instead of choosing a direct route, God led the people on a longer path, purposefully avoiding the detour. It’s remarkable to consider that what could have been a swift passage turned into a prolonged journey of 38 years. Yet, through this unexpected detour, God was pursuing a greater purpose, one that surpassed immediate understanding. (Exodus 13:17) I understand that you’re feeling exhausted from your prayers, and it may seem like your patience is wearing thin. Yet, I urge you to cling to hope—there is a light on the horizon, and help is on the way!
