No Box for Me

I feel deeply resentful when my ability to express myself freely is restricted. This limitation encloses me in a cloud of frustration and despair. The weight of unshared thoughts and unvoiced emotions constricts my spirit, leaving me feeling muted and overwhelmingly isolated in a world where connection is vital. Each day becomes a struggle as the silence gnaws at me, emphasizing that my voice is stifled and my true feelings remain hidden.

 Upon reflecting on my frustration, thoughts of God began to emerge. I recalled a significant moment when He communicated directly with His prophets, offering guidance through His wisdom. Eventually, a great nation was formed, grounded in the promises made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Through Moses, the Tabernacle was established, including the Holy of Holies—a sacred area in the tent where priests offered sacrifices for sins. God was said to reside above the Ark of the Covenant, housed in a holy box. (Exodus 31:7) The Ark of the Covenant was not to be touched. (2 Samuel 6:1-6)

We carry His presence, made possible through Jesus’s death, burial, and resurrection. He yearned for a relationship that transcended traditional boundaries. No longer content to remain confined to a distant realm, He desired to draw near, to inhabit our hearts and lives in an intimate and transformative way. (Matthew 1:23)

He expressed that he understood my feelings, especially the struggle of expressing oneself.

In summary, God yearned for more than mere confinement within the confines of a box or the limitations of a tent or temple. He sought to reveal His true essence, aiming to express Himself in far more extraordinary and profound ways.

I wholeheartedly seek to embrace God’s presence and divine ways in my life. We must allow God to manifest within us, guiding our thoughts and actions, flowing through our interactions with others, and enveloping us with his love and wisdom in the world around us. By surrendering to this higher power, we can fully experience the transformative influence of the divine in every aspect of our existence.
