Children are God’s Heritage

Children are God’s Heritage

Author Darlene J. Conard

Remember the profound words: “Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” These words of Jesus remind us of children’s invaluable nature and innocence. Luke 17:2, Jesus gives this warning, It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.” KJV

Surrounding myself with children brings me immense joy and deep spiritual healing. The innocent presence of a child has the remarkable ability to create a profound impact with their simple yet powerful words. Their forgiving nature, unconditional love, and unwavering trust in others are inspiring.

Please join in prayer with me to pray for children worldwide.

“Today, I proclaim that every single child, regardless of their background or circumstances, is free from oppression. It is our shared duty to ensure that every child has the opportunity to bask in the light of the divine: for every one of them carries the radiant glory of the divine and represents the very embodiment of His kingdom on earth. “I declare Matthew 19:14, … Jesus said, “Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”

I decree that every child, regardless of their circumstances, is now freed from oppression. As of today, no child shall be denied the opportunity to come to the Lord and experience His love and presence. They shall carry the glory of God within them and are a vital part of His kingdom. I declare Psalm 127:3, “Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.”

As the Lord’s cherished heritage, all children will find joy and fulfillment in following His ways. Every child shall walk in accordance to His divine purpose.”

In Jesus name, Amen

Follow the Light

Follow the Light

Author Darlene J. Conard

During power outages, the wait for light is difficult. Morning comes gradually as the night slowly fades.

Sunlight is important to our bodies; it directly produces Vitamin D. Most of our vitamin D is gained this way. Doctors encourage an increase in outdoor activities during the summer for improved mental health, as sunlight helps drive away depression and serves as a mood enhancer.

“Christ is the guiding spiritual light in our lives, providing all we need to thrive. Similar to power outages that can disrupt our connection with God, we may encounter moments of weariness in our bodies, minds, and hearts. Nonetheless, He is the only healing light that illuminates our path. and we discover our sustenance in the comforting embrace of His presence.

No matter how dark the world is, Jesus is still a shining light. Through our prayers and reading His word, we become empowered.

“All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. (John 1:3-5 KJV)

No Box for Me

No Box for Me

Author Darlene J. Conard

“Here God, take all of me,” I felt a deep sincerity in my heart. I came to Him with every single broken piece of myself, offering them up in exchange for a new life. The weight of living in darkness had become unbearable, and I knew I could no longer continue that way. In return for my surrender, God didn’t abandon me; instead, He showed me that I had a purpose.

As I eagerly awaited a delivery one day, my eyes were drawn to something peculiar outside my glass doors. To my amazement, a solitary mum stood by itself beside my large flower box, seemingly emerging from the cemented parking lot. I didn’t plant it there. Some of the seeds must have been carried by the wind from my neighbor’s flowers! Of course, this was one of God’s messages for me. It turned into two messages!

Countless times, we may find ourselves questioning the impact of the seeds we plant in people’s lives, wondering if our efforts are in vain. However, it is important to remember that our actions often have a deeper and longer-lasting effect than we realize. Just like how seeds germinate and grow into flourishing plants, the influence of sowing gospel seeds never truly fades away. Every interaction and gesture, no matter how small, can contribute to a greater and significant transformation in someone’s life. Isaiah 55:11 is a promise, So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. (KJV)

The second message I received from the mum is, that God works outside the box. I didn’t surrender my life to Him to be confined, nor does He want to be.

I desire to experience God’s amazing power to its fullest! No boundaries, no stopping, or no questions I want to witness those seeds being showered by His glory!

It’s Time for the Church to Be the Church

It’s Time for the Church to Be the Church

Author Darlene J. Conard

As I strolled home, basking in the warm sunlight, I took a moment to ponder the events of my day. Where would I be if someone hadn’t stood in the gap to pray for me?

In a heartfelt discussion with my friend, we delved into the profound significance of radiating God’s light in our lives. I found myself distancing from embracing God’s teachings as a sinner due to the approach of certain Christians. Their calamitous warnings of eternal damnation did nothing to draw me closer to God; instead, I felt pushed away by their lack of compassion and nurturing. Their self-righteous tone seemed to proclaim, “Look at my righteousness!”

David Phelps wrote a song called, Live Like a King. The lyrics go like this,

My thirst for the things of this earth
Isn’t quenched by diamonds or pearls
One Man lived the life that I want
He’s the One they said ruled the world

Though He only wore a crown of thorns
And He never owned a thing

I want to live like a King
I want to live like a King
And my decree it will ring
“Love will rule everything”
I want to live like a King

This King did the strangest of things
He befriended the sick and the poor
There was no one too wrong, too right, too black, too white for Him to Love
He built no walls, left no unopened doors
Well, now I could croon a million other tunes
There is just one I want to sing

I want to be stronger, I want to be wiser
I just want to make every move be the one He’d want to see from me
There’s just such power, such healing power
In every word that He said, in every deed that He did

This world has heard enough preaching, now we need a demonstration of the Holy Ghost, His power! Reflectors were designed to reflect subjects in the dark.  People who work in the mines are required to wear reflective clothing. People walking in the dark should wear bright clothing to be spotted. We are living in a dark world. If we aren’t reflecting God’s glory, how will they see? They need something tangible not religious and ceremonial.

My prayer is to be as much like Jesus as possible. For the Holy Ghost to cleanse me of all unrighteousness so that I can be a reflector of God’s glory. It’s time for us to be the church and stop being ceremonial. The building is not the church, we are the church

Heart of a champion

Heart of a champion

Muhammad Ali, widely regarded as one of the greatest heavyweights in the history of professional boxing, is celebrated for his exceptional ability in the ring. His success in the sport was underpinned by his unwavering commitment to honing his speed and reflexes, attributes that set him apart from his peers.

Drawing parallels between Ali’s intense training regimen and our spiritual journey, we can aspire to emulate the mindset of a champion. Just as Ali’s coach meticulously taught him the nuances of timing and technique for his punches, we can seek guidance from God to navigate life’s myriad challenges, fostering our spiritual acumen and fortitude. This enduring perseverance amid life’s trials mirrors the indomitable spirit represented by the figure attached to a ball, serving as a poignant reminder to “Never give up” and to steadfastly rise after every setback.

David, a projecting biblical figure, encountered numerous obstacles and defeats. It’s important to remember that God doesn’t want us to remain in a state of despair. It’s not about surrendering to challenges, but rather about finding the strength to rise again. When faced with adversity from Satan, it’s crucial to be equipped to counter it with the teachings of the Word of God. Let’s also remember to dismiss Satan’s falsehoods as nothing more than a fictional narrative.

We are in training, God is preparing us for the next move.

“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.” 1 Timothy 6:12 KJV

Don’t Be So Hasty

Don’t Be So Hasty

Author Darlene J. Conard

Recently, I came across a thought-provoking video that centered around a donkey, people, and a farm. Initially, I was skeptical, assuming it would be an imaginative, fabricated tale. However, as I delved into it; I discovered that it held valuable wisdom and imparted a lesson that resonated with me deeply.

The donkey was tied to a tree but a demon came and untied it. The donkey ran, into the fields, and began destroying the crop. When the farmer’s wife spotted this, she shot and killed the donkey. The donkey’s owner was so upset that he shot the farmer’s wife. When the farmer returned to see his wife dead he stormed off and shot the donkey’s owner. The wife of the owner of the donkey asked her sons to avenge the death of their father and go and burn down the house of the farmer. The boys went late evening and gleefully carried out their mother’s orders assuming that the farmer too would have been burnt alive along with the house. Sadly, for them, that wasn’t the case. When the farmer came back to see the charred remains of the house he promptly went and shot the wife and the two sons of the donkey’s owner. Suddenly struck by remorse the farmer asked the demon, “Why did all those terrible things have to happen?” the demon replied, “I did nothing at all. Oh, except release the donkey. It was all of you, who reacted, overacted, and released the inner devil.” -author unknown-

“Always keep in mind that the influence of the devil has the potential to take advantage of our vulnerabilities, leading us towards harmful intentions and actions. Before responding thoughtlessly or seeking revenge, take a moment to contemplate and opt for a constructive course of action. It is essential to be vigilant, as the subtle influences of the devil can very easily lead us off course.

“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” (2 Corinthians 10:5 KJV)

That’s why we need to walk in the spirit. Don’t be hasty in assumptions.

God’s Promise

God’s Promise

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8 KJV

The journey of faith is often marked by moments of discouragement, but it is crucial to remain unwavering in our resolve.

This morning, as I awoke, these scriptures resonated in my mind. Some prayers are swiftly answered by the divine while some have an appointed time.

The passage from 2 Corinthians 1:20 states, “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.” There are instances when a mere knock or two on a door isn’t sufficient. Some doors remain closed, yet to be opened by God. It’s essential to persist in pursuit, to seek His guidance, and to delve deeper into His word. The act of persistent knocking serves as a testament to our perseverance. In due course, that very door shall swing open, never to be shut.

It is through unwavering persistence that we will transition into the next phase of our lives. Let us not succumb to despair. Instead, let us challenge the deceit of Satan, and ardently claim the inheritance that awaits us.

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint” Luke 18:1 (KJV)

We’ve got to continue to pray and not lose hope.

I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.” Revelation 3:8 KJV

These Words are written in red to signify that Christ is speaking. He is the One Who will set the door before us.

Beloved, stay cheerful, keep praying and obeying Him. Witness how He brings about a glorious outcome!

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9 KJV

In these challenging times, it is crucial to emphasize the significance of perseverance and determination in the face of adversity. Just as the church did when Peter was imprisoned, we are called to persist in prayer without ceasing. (Acts 12:5-12) The atmosphere is laden with anticipation, God is preparing to make a remarkable entrance.

This message is to signify focusing on the promises of God rather than getting discouraged. It referred to the Greek word ‘diókó,’ which means to put to flight, pursue, and even persecute.

The text draws inspiration from biblical references such as Philippians 3:14 (KJV), emphasizing the idea of pressing toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. It also highlights the unwavering determination and faith demonstrated by individuals like Blind Bartimaeus, the woman with an issue of blood, Mary, Paul, and Silas.

The underlying theme is clear: regardless of the challenges we face, we must not give up but instead press forward and put up a fight for the promises of God. This timeless message serves as a reminder to persevere and seek spiritual growth in the face of adversity.”

I urge you to holdfast to the Word of God and stay anchored in prayer.

In the name of the Lord

In the name of the Lord

Author Darlene J. Conard

“And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.”

Gideon, a humble man in his household, was visited one day by an angel bearing a powerful message: “Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?” This command propelled him to rely on his strength.

Following God’s instructions, Gideon carefully selected a small group of men for battle, ultimately mustering only three hundred soldiers to face a formidable enemy force. Positioned in the valley where the enemy had gathered, Gideon and his servant covertly eavesdropped and confirmed the enemy’s plans through their conversations.

Upon Gideon’s order, the trumpet was blown, and the three hundred men shattered their pitchers and cried out, “The sword of the Lord and Gideon!” Although Gideon initially relied on his strength, his victory was ultimately secured through his attentiveness to God’s guidance. The resulting cacophony confused the enemy, reverberating off the valley walls and enhancing the chaos.

This story serves as a reminder that even in our most trying times, such as when we find ourselves in the valley, we can seize the opportunity to grow and discern the will of the Lord.

Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, “This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” Zechariah 4:6 KJV
