God Chaser

God Chaser

A person with an unquenchable hunger for God radiates an unwavering strength, becoming a challenging force for good and a significant challenge to the realm of darkness. Their deep longing for spiritual connection and divine purpose empowers them to act boldly, inspiring others and pushing back against negativity and despair. This relentless pursuit ignites a fierce determination that makes them unstoppable in their quest for truth and light.

People have often approached me with comments like, “You need to ease up; you go too far with this Christianity thing. There are other things to talk about besides God. Stop acting so spiritual.” I can only say I’m not acting; I’m living it. My grandmother’s prayers and fasting on my behalf were vital in my liberation from the deep despair that had once imprisoned me. When I was teetering on the verge of suicide, it was His merciful intervention that held me back.

I love Jesus and will continue to talk about Him and strive to be His person. Maybe you are getting the same response. It’s ok; they didn’t understand Jesus; he’s still misunderstood!

Acts 13:22 says … “I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.”  David joyfully danced before the Lord, casting aside the trappings of his royal status. With each exuberant step, he moved through the streets of Israel, his heart full of praise and devotion. The air was filled with the sounds of celebration as he freely expressed his gratitude and love for the Lord, inspiring those around him to join in the moment of worship. (2 Samuel 6:14-16)

We are living in an era where the importance of seeking God with unwavering devotion is often overlooked or deemed unnecessary. The societal pressures to prioritize immediate concerns over the profound quest for spiritual connection and understanding are real. But we must remember, our faith is not determined by societal norms, but by our personal relationship with God.

“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” John 4:24 KJV

For me, Jesus is not just a figure in history or a distant deity. He is my everything, my life, and my passion. Without Him, I am nothing. This personal connection with God is what fuels my unwavering devotion and inspires me to share my experiences with you.

Let’s not forget, we are called to seek God with all our hearts, minds, and strength. This unwavering devotion is not just a suggestion, it’s a commitment that we should all strive to uphold.

Feel free to forward it to anyone you wish.  My mission is to encourage everyone to follow our Lord Jesus Christ with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. ©Darlene J. Magic erasers are truly remarkable tools! With their unique composition, they effortlessly remove a wide array of markings and stains from various surfaces, leaving them looking pristine. When I use one on a tired, dingy white surface, it’s almost like watching a transformation—what once appeared dull and worn suddenly shines with a freshness that feels as if it were brand new.

As I folded laundry in my dimly lit room, my mind wandered to the incredible capabilities of these little sponges. I found myself daydreaming about a magical eraser for the mind, one that could effortlessly wipe away all the unpleasant memories that cling to us like stubborn stains. In a moment of vulnerability, I voiced my wish aloud, almost feeling the weight of my thoughts lift as I said, “I wish I could just wipe everything away, every single thing.”

As I continued with my household tasks, the rhythm of my chores became a backdrop for a deeper conversation. I shared my internal struggles with God, seeking solace in His presence. I reminded myself that God can forget our mistakes when we lay them at His feet, and I felt a comforting warmth enveloping my heart. It brought me peace to know that, despite my burdens, there is hope in surrendering them to Him.

In a quiet moment of reflection, I felt a gentle nudge from God, reminding me of the ever-present adversary that seeks to sow discord and devastation among His people. The thought struck me: nothing would delight Satan more than witnessing a child of God stumble, falter, and remain downcast. I recalled Revelation 12:10, which speaks of the relentless accuser—an embodiment of darkness—who stands before God, day and night, hurling accusations against the brethren. What does he accuse them of? Everything imaginable could inflict wounds, instigate self-loathing, incite hatred toward others, or instigate doubts about God’s goodness.

This realization underscored the profound importance of remaining vigilant in prayer and immersing ourselves in His sacred word. It’s much like taking a piece of bread—breaking it apart thoughtfully and savoring each morsel. Perhaps one of the many purposes of our memories is to equip us with insights drawn from our past mistakes, enabling us to resist future trials and wield the power of Scripture effectively.

I’ve come to understand that God is meticulous; He never wastes a moment. One night, during a vivid dream, I sensed God speaking to me, saying, “Darlene, I was with you in those moments—here, here, and here.” It was a profound reminder that I was never truly alone, nor would I ever face anything without His presence. Yes, recollection can be painful; some memories are marked by profound anguish and heartache. It isn’t easy to envision how one can persevere through another day or find solace in a peaceful night’s sleep amidst the shadows of the past.

“God is our refuge and strength, a present help in trouble.” Psalms 46:1 KJV

… “lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:20 KJV

“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to humanity. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13 KJV) Paul wrote this in his letter to Corinth because it’s true. God will not allow satan to push us to the edge.

The accusations that constantly come forth will not come to pass. We must hold on, keep praying, and keep believing the Lord will do what He promised. Romans 4:25 and 5:1 say that through Christ, we are justified, and through Him, we are defended by the shedding of His blood.

Keep that armor on!  “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Ephesians 6:11 KJV

God Turns Chaos into Order

God Turns Chaos into Order

Author Darlene J Conard

I was filled with reluctance and determination as I stood amidst the clutter in my utility room. “I know I need to, but I don’t want to,” I mutter. At this moment, I earnestly declare, “The flesh is weak, but the spirit is willing!” As I sifted through my belongings, I realized that what I might dismiss as mere clutter could be a hidden treasure for someone else. When I finish dragging everything out, my foyer transforms into what can only be described as a hoarder’s paradise—an overwhelming array of items sprawled in chaotic disarray. Dust dances through the air, settling thickly on surfaces, making my apartment appear to have experienced a minor explosion of debris.

Navigating through this maze of forgotten possessions is no small feat; each step down the hall feels like an expedition, with me digging through the emotional and physical clutter to create a tenuous path from room to room. I can’t help but wonder how long it will truly take to restore order to this space, to lovingly sort through piles of clothes, stacks of books, and countless odds and ends that have accumulated over time. The task ahead feels monumental, yet a small part of me is excited at discovering lost gems hidden within this jumble.

Chaos creates an overwhelming atmosphere.  So much truth is in that!

What if I told you that chaos is a tool for God? “No, He isn’t the author of confusion. (1 Corinthians 14:33 KJV) He works in it.

In the book of Esther, Haman’s lust for power drove him to deceive the king. All it took was the right strategy since he was the king’s righthand man, no problem! “Here is the plan. I’ll convince King Ahasuerus that the Jews are enemies.” Mordecai knew Esther was in the right place at the right time. He depended on his niece, whom he raised as his own, to intercede on their behalf.  (Read the book of Esther)

Arrogance led Haman straight into the very snare he built for Mordecai. Chaos ceased in God’s time. Israel was spared.

Jesus, upon entering Bethsaida, encountered a blind man in need of a miracle. “Touch him, my Lord,” the people urged. (Mark 8:22-20) First, He touched the man’s eyes with His spit and asked, “What do you see?” The blind man looked up and replied, “I see men as trees, walking.” At first, he didn’t truly see. Have you ever had your eyes examined? Sometimes drops are put in your eyes to dilate them. It can be overwhelming to want to see clearly. The second time, Jesus placed His hands upon the man’s eyes. His vision was restored as if he had always been able to see. Chaos only lasted for a moment; then, by the touch of the Master’s hands, the order was restored.

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”   Romans 8:28 KJV

“God has the power to restore order to chaotic things. Before doing so, everything must be disorganized and misplaced. But there’s no need to fret, as He has already paved the way for this restoration. “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.” (Psalms 119:105 KJV)

Our natural sight betrays us. Focus on what God said He would do.  “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go. I will guide thee with mine eye.” (Psalm 32:8 KJV) His eye is our compass. It says eye. The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.”  Single vision is a term that throws me in a loop when ordering glasses online. It taught me something valuable, though. The two lenses are created for optical correction for a single distance, meaning only one. Focus is one way, not two, three, or four. Jesus says, “But if thine eye is evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness; how great is that darkness!”  Proverbs says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”  To have an open vision, our circumstances mustn’t blind us, and we believe in a physical manifestation of God’s order.

I have a remarkable uncle who is visually impaired yet incredibly able to count money with precision. Despite his blindness, he enjoys “watching” TV and experiencing “sightseeing” by vividly imagining them. When it comes to counting change, he relies on his acute memory for the unique characteristics of coins, such as their size, texture, and engravings, running his fingers over them to discern their value. His resilience and wisdom have been invaluable, teaching me the profound lesson of navigating life with unwavering faith rather than relying solely on what meets the eye.

The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision.

The New Era

The New Era

Author Darlene J. Conard

From the very foundation of the earth, a mesmerizing spark of amber light unfurled in graceful, circular motions as though it were playfully chasing its tail. Wisping sounds traveled in the air as the flames grew, forming a magnificent fire pillar towering over me. The sight was truly breathtaking. “I did this for the children of Israel. I will do this for you; I will show my wonders.” Although the Lord spoke in a soft voice, it was magnified. His Words echoed, ushering me from a deep slumber into an awakening.

God’s counsel commenced by exploring our tendency to underestimate His immense power and greatness, especially when confronted with challenging or overwhelming circumstances. It is easy to become consumed by our present struggles and to lose sight of the limitlessness of His strength and majesty. In moments of difficulty, we often forget that His capabilities far exceed our challenges, leading us to a diminished view of His divine influence in our lives. This reflection encourages us to recognize and acknowledge the full scope of His greatness, even when times are tough. “If I could only get my emotions out of the way, I’d be fine,” I confessed to another intercessor. She reminded me that we are human.

God’s counsel and instruction are not to condemn us but to perfect and protect us. He is getting us ready for the more significant things.

The children of Israel remained stuck in the wilderness for forty-one years! I want to move on so that God can do what He needs to do in my life. I don’t want to miss out on anything that God is doing!

Take a moment to visualize this: When you’re at a game, your undivided attention is on your team or a beloved individual participating. Everything else becomes a hazy backdrop. But —if your focus shifts to the background, you risk missing out on the enjoyment of the game or the presence of those you cherish. The hazy backdrop becomes the focus; now, what’s vital is a blur.

God is taking care of things. The enemy will throw obstacles in our path to divert our focus from what God has assigned us to do.

The atmosphere is intensely charged as God prepares us for more excellent times.

“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:18-19 KJV)

The things we were once accustomed to will soon be distant memories as God sets a transformative new era into motion. He has intentionally disrupted our familiar patterns and routines to compel us to step beyond our comfort zones and embrace the beautiful changes ahead.

God is moving in every country!

God is moving in every country!

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit;” Acts 2:17

It brings me immense joy to engage with individuals from various nations, as I hear the inspiring testimonies shared by our many subscribers about the incredible ways God is at work in their lives! I have had the excellent opportunity to meet new people and form lasting connections, weaving our stories together meaningfully. Indeed, God is good, and His unstoppable power continues to manifest in remarkable ways!

**Malawi Expedition Trip!**

Last week, the team and I traveled to Chambo Village in Malawi to minister the word of God in that area. We soon discovered that Islam was prevalent in the village, so before entering any home, we prayed for God’s direction and favor to work in miraculous ways.

One of the women we ministered to was initially not receptive to our teaching and openly rejected our message. However, when she returned home, the Lord spoke to her. The next day, she came to us and shared her testimony. She described feeling a literal knocking on her heart and a desire to listen to our message and reconsider her beliefs. She then gave her life to Christ and felt encouraged to go home and share Jesus with her family!

God continued to answer our prayers, and we saw more people come to Christ and receive restoration in Jesus’ name. One remarkable testimony of healing involved a man we ministered to who was experiencing chest pains. After we prayed over him, he experienced healing.

Words and Their Power

Words and Their Power

Author Darlene J. Conard

Imagine a world where kindness is the norm for everyone. While cleaning my apartment this morning, I reflected on how simple acts of kindness can create a ripple effect, transforming our world and ourselves.

The Bible emphasizes the profound impact that words can have, highlighting their incredible power to shape thoughts, influence actions, and transform lives. Each word carries weight, and its effects can resonate deeply with individuals, making a positive or negative change. Words can either build up or tear down.

Ephesians 4:29 says, “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.”

In the Greek language, the term for “corrupt speech” can be expressed as “sapros” or “phtheiró.” These words summarize the idea of moral decay, highlighting the emptiness of certain words and the troubling actions that often accompany them. Such speech and behavior lack ethical value and can undermine the integrity of communication and relationships. They indicate a more profound moral corruption that affects both the speaker and the listener.

We live in an era when the boundaries of acceptable language seem to have faded. Society appears increasingly indifferent to profanity and the harmful effects of tarnishing someone’s reputation. The normalization of such attitudes has led to a culture where the power of words is often underestimated, and the consequences of their misuse are overlooked.

While expressing the truth is undoubtedly essential and commendable, what truly matters is the attitude and intent accompanying those words.

God has graciously given us the remarkable gift of speech, allowing us to express heartfelt praise and sincere gratitude to Him. Our words can transform difficult situations and dispel negativity, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with positivity and hope.

We must continually acknowledge that the words we choose to speak—whether uplifting or critical—carry significant weight and can profoundly influence the lives of those around us. Our language can inspire, comfort, motivate or, hurt, discourage, and diminish. Being mindful of our words creates a positive environment and fosters more profound connections with others.

“Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men. For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.” Titus 3:1-8 KJV

The Banquet of Justice

The Banquet of Justice

Author Darlene J. Conard

The pendulum swung back and forth, creating a gentle sound that echoed through the darkness. A soft, white glow surrounded the blade as it hung mid-air, swaying with an almost hypnotic rhythm. The transition from the pendulum’s gentle swaying to the swift motion of the blade was practically faint yet held an air of threatening anticipation. Only time would reveal the fate that awaited. The glint of the blade’s sharp edge was highlighted by a white outline as it descended, effortlessly slicing a yoke into pieces. Following this, the heavy iron chains beneath it were also cut asunder and reduced to powder to be blown away by the wind.

I witnessed this powerful vision precisely at 4:13 AM on Tuesday. In silence, I awaited the divine revelation from the Lord. He took me to the story of Esther, where she hosts a banquet for the king and Haman. It’s a curious twist, considering Haman’s status as an enemy to Esther and her people. This was no ordinary banquet; it was held to expose Hammon’s plot to the king.

“ I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.”( Romans 7:21 KJV) Paul wrote this because it was his personal experience every time he obeyed the will of the Lord.

Throughout our lives, we endure seasons where God’s presence is intensely felt, guiding, and uplifting us. However, there are seasons when His absence seems mysterious and challenging, causing us to seek His comforting presence.

After Esther bravely exposes Haman’s treacherous plot to the King, he furiously leaves the room in the palace garden to gather his thoughts. In the King’s absence, Hamon, realizing the impending danger to his own life, nervously approached Esther and implored her to intercede on his behalf. However, consumed by anxiety and perhaps emboldened by drink, Haman stumbled and ended up collapsing, intoxicated, onto Esther’s bed. At that moment, the king intervenes and accuses him of assaulting Esther. The gallows he built for Mordecai are used for his execution.

God often uses us to lure and trap our enemies in their schemes. If we continue to do what God tells us to do, Satan’s plans will come to not.

Follow the Light

Follow the Light

Author Darlene J. Conard

Waiting for the return of light can feel almost unbearable in the depths of darkness brought on by power outages. As the hours drag on, a faint glimmer of dawn begins to seep into the horizon, slowly dissolving the shadows of the night. The world around transforms gradually; silhouettes merge into soft outlines as the first rays of morning come through, heralding a new day with a gentle promise.

Sunlight plays a vital role in our overall health, primarily by facilitating Vitamin D production in our bodies. The vast majority of our Vitamin D intake comes from exposure to sunlight, making these golden rays essential for our well-being. Health professionals often recommend engaging in more outdoor activities during the summer months to boost mental health, as the warm embrace of sunlight not only helps to alleviate feelings of depression but also acts as a powerful mood enhancer. The bright, natural light uplifts our spirits and encourages a sense of vitality, making it an essential element for a balanced and upbeat lifestyle.

Christ shines as a guiding spiritual light in our lives, illuminating our paths with His divine presence and offering everything we need to flourish. Just as unexpected power outages can sever our connection with the world around us, we can find ourselves grappling with moments of fatigue and weariness that seep into our bodies, minds, and hearts. Yet, even in those shadows of despair, He remains the sole source of healing light that dispels darkness and brings clarity to our journey. In the gentle solace of His presence, we uncover our proper sustenance, wrapped in the warmth of His comforting embrace, nurturing our weary souls and rejuvenating our spirits.

Even in the bleakest moments when the world seems shrouded in darkness, Jesus’s presence shines brightly like a beacon of hope. Through the power of our prayers and the wisdom found in His sacred word, we are invigorated and inspired, drawing strength and comfort that transcends our circumstances.

“All things were made by him, and without him was not anything made that was made.In him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. (John 1:3-5 KJV)

The Unfathomable Presence of God

The Unfathomable Presence of God

Author Darlene J. Conard

As I gradually emerged from the depths of slumber, the sweet melodies of springtime birds filled the air, their cheerful chirping mingling harmoniously with the distant clamor of construction workers at work. The symphony of nature and industry was a curious blend, creating a lively and vibrant backdrop. Yet, amidst this lively soundscape, a far deeper sensation enveloped me—God’s mighty and comforting presence, washing over me like a gentle wave, infusing the moment with indescribable peace and joy.

I’ve expressed this statement countless times, and I’ll persist in doing so: true peace can only be cherished after enduring the trials of adversity. I’ve faced the depths of despair and wrestled with doubt numerous times. During these tumultuous moments, when the struggles feel all-consuming, the value of peace becomes intensely apparent and deeply appreciated.

Michael English sings a song titled There’s Not a Crown Without a Cross. The chorus says, “There’s not a victory without a fight, There’s not a sunrise without a night, There’s not a purchase without a cost, There’s not a crown without a cross! Uh, without a cross”,

I’ve often described the sensation of emerging from a fierce battle as if I’ve shed old skin, feeling clean and renewed, wholly transformed in both body and spirit. Each blow and clash washes away the remnants of my former self, leaving me revitalized and reborn as if I’m stepping into the world anew.

Isaiah 55:11-12 says, So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

Always remember that God remains steadfast and unwavering in all His ways. His presence is a constant source of support, assuring us that He will never abandon or forsake us in our times of need.

When God Answers by Fire

When God Answers by Fire

Author Darlene J. Conard

I had a deep understanding of the scriptures found in 1 Kings 2:30-38. In this passage, God sought to mock Baal worshippers with His immense power. He instructed Elijah with detailed and specific instructions to demonstrate His divine authority. As part of this preparation, Elijah poured water over the sacrifice, soaking it thoroughly. This was done to confirm that when God responded to the offering, He clearly showed that He was a consuming fire and could bring miraculous transformation even in the most impossible situations.

Sometimes, God permits someone to douse our offering with water, testing our faith and resolve. In doing so, He creates an opportunity to reveal His power, answering with a divine fire that consumes everything in its path. I assure you that when He answers your impossible situation, it will bring you to your knees!

By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.” (Hebrews 13:15-16 KJV)

The enemy is going to creep into your thoughts with insidious whispers, taunting you with statements like, “Why would God ever hear your praise? He has more important matters to attend to; clearly, you are not one of them. You think He listens to you, but the reality is, you’re just being ignored!” In these moments of despair, we must remind ourselves that this deceiver is the father of lies, the god of this world. His role is to cast shadows of doubt and confusion; he thrives on planting seeds of mistrust. Remember, he cannot possibly speak the truth, for his very nature is rooted in deception and manipulation! Stay vigilant against his falsehoods.

God descends with significant presence as you worship, igniting a flame that rekindles what has been dampened and lost. Hold on steadfastly to this promise, for He will become a fierce and renewing fire, reviving our weary bones and filling our spirits with warmth and strength!
