Trial’s Transformative Power

Trial’s Transformative Power

In the serene ambiance of the neighborhood, a dove perched on a nearby tree, releasing melodious coos that resonated through the tranquil air. The gentle yet assertive breeze gracefully swept through the leaves, creating a soothing rustling sound that added to the peaceful atmosphere. The room was filled with the scent of frankincense and myrrh.  “Peace— finally, thank you, God!” I sobbed. My living room was bathed in the gentle glow of moonlight, creating a truly special atmosphere. I affectionately refer to it as God’s nightlight. The vision I just experienced was a sign that this particular spiritual war was over.

After a month filled with intense spiritual battles and internal struggles, the unbridled storm finally subsided, bringing forth a profound transformation within me. “Perhaps you’re struggling to comprehend why certain circumstances are allowed by God to unfold. Every morning, my grandmother would wake up to a sign on her wall that read, “IF GOD BRINGS YOU TO IT, HE’LL BRING YOU THROUGH IT!” This powerful message served as a daily reminder that no matter the challenges one may face, there is always the strength to overcome them. In adversity, faith can provide the strength to overcome challenges.

I’m excited to continue sharing my personal transformation journey. Imagine a butterfly to illustrate this process; transformation doesn’t happen overnight. Initially, the butterfly starts as a humble caterpillar and then goes through a seclusion period within a cocoon. It struggles to break free from this protective shell when the time is right, eventually evolving as a stunning butterfly. This slow and challenging process is a powerful symbol of personal growth and transformation in our lives. The process of a butterfly emerging from its cocoon and struggling to spread its wings is crucial for its finale. The effort strengthens the butterfly’s muscles, pumps fluids into its wings, and prepares it for flight. This struggle is essential to the butterfly’s transformation and eventual ability to start its journey.

Hebrews 10:35-36 says, “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.”  KJV

Stand firm and know that God’s got you! You have a journey with Jesus that awaits you!
