Over the past couple of years, I have undergone profound and unsettling transformations. It’s as if the protective barriers I had constructed around myself were gradually dismantled, brick by brick, under divine guidance. Throughout 2017, I dedicated much of my time to introspection, delving deep into the recesses of my spirit in search of the scattered remnants of my being.
The process of God teaching us life lessons is often compared to a potter working with clay. The scattered bits and pieces within us represent new transitions in our lives. As I prayed about this early this morning, I had a revelation: the old fragments are sorted, and the good pieces are gathered.
He never allows the fiery furnace’s temperature to reach a degree that would destroy our lives. Instead, he beautifully and gently recreates us.
If you are uncertain about the transitions in your life now, don’t fret—it’s the Hand of the Potter.
I trust God more than I ever have. He is with us anywhere we go or face.
…. “old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17
“But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.” Isaiah 64:8 (KJV)
But now, O Lord, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all we are the work of Your hand.” Isaiah 64:8 (KJV)
“God does not waste an ounce of our pain or a drop of our tears; suffering doesn’t come our way for no reason, and He seems especially efficient at using what we endure to mold our character. If we are malleable, He takes our bumps and bruises and shapes them into something beautiful. – Frank Peretti –
