God’s Promise

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8 KJV

The journey of faith is often marked by moments of discouragement, but it is crucial to remain unwavering in our resolve.

This morning, as I awoke, these scriptures resonated in my mind. Some prayers are swiftly answered by the divine while some have an appointed time.

The passage from 2 Corinthians 1:20 states, “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.” There are instances when a mere knock or two on a door isn’t sufficient. Some doors remain closed, yet to be opened by God. It’s essential to persist in pursuit, to seek His guidance, and to delve deeper into His word. The act of persistent knocking serves as a testament to our perseverance. In due course, that very door shall swing open, never to be shut.

It is through unwavering persistence that we will transition into the next phase of our lives. Let us not succumb to despair. Instead, let us challenge the deceit of Satan, and ardently claim the inheritance that awaits us.

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint” Luke 18:1 (KJV)

We’ve got to continue to pray and not lose hope.

I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.” Revelation 3:8 KJV

These Words are written in red to signify that Christ is speaking. He is the One Who will set the door before us.

Beloved, stay cheerful, keep praying and obeying Him. Witness how He brings about a glorious outcome!
