Who am I?

Who am I?

Author Darlene J Conard

“The more you reaffirm who you are in Christ, the more your behavior will begin to reflect your true identity.”    Neil T. Anderson

A few nights ago, while sitting at my desk working on my manuscript, an intrusive thought disrupted my work, “You shouldn’t be writing and ministering to people. Those close to you think of you as a failure and a hypocrite. You failed to do one simple thing, minister!” Tears slid down my cheeks as I began believing it. I knew I’ve failed time after time, especially my God. Abstaining my fingers from my keyboard, I dropped my arms then looked away from the document clothed with a promising message. My heart suddenly expanded with pain. Fear began to squeeze me as I thought, I’m going to fall apart and not make it back. I heard God so loud in my spirit say, “You’re not defined by what people say. You are defined by Me. I’m your Defender, Counselor, High Priest, Redeemer, and I am your Heavenly Father. I say, You are Mine. I say, you are forgiven. I say, you are Redeemed by My blood. I say, you are My prophetess. I say you are my daughter. I Am, The Most High God. You are who I say you are.”

Heaviness fled and I could breathe once again. My hanging hands once again felt encouraged to begin typing.

Beloved, remember this is, when you are required of much Satan’s attack on you is fierce; however, God is all power! The blood of Jesus cannot be resisted. Satan’s constant determination to destroy you, says everything about you! You have a fervent prayer life. God absolutely will not ignore that we are chasing after Him!

“I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.” Romans 7:21 KJV

You are who God says, “You are!”

You’re going to experince overwhelming hurt to the point that it feels like you are not going to make it. I get it! One important realization we must conclude is that God doesn’t put on us more than we can bare. He is working things out for the better. (Romans 8:28)
